Misi Opens in Williamsburg!
James Beard Award-winning chef Missy Robbins, of acclaimed restaurant Lilia, has opened her second Italian restaurant and bar, Misi, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The restaurant is located at 329 Kent Avenue, within the Domino Sugar Refinery development and across from the newly opened Domino Park, developed by Two Trees Management. The menu at Misi reflects Robbins’ culinary philosophy - simple yet sophisticated - and focuses almost exclusively on her signature pastas and vegetables.
At Misi, guests can find a selection of ten antipasti, vegetable-forward dishes including Charred marinated peppers with marjoram and whipped ricotta crostinis; Grilled baby artichokes with mint salsa verde; Olive oil poached zucchini w ith capers, oregano and grilled bread; Whole roasted eggplant with Calabrian chili, lemon and olive oil; and Peppery greens with warm pancetta vinaigrette.
The menu also includes ten handcrafted pasta dishes, including Fettuccini with buffalo butter , solo di bruna parmigiano and black pepper; Corzetti with sungold cherry tomatoes, garlic, pecorino and summer herbs; Malloreddus with clams, sea beans and saffron; Sheep’s milk ricotta filled occhi with bottarga and lemon; and Chickpea pappardelle with chickpeas, rosemary, garlic and parmigiano.
